Another year in it's twilight, I want to say thanks for swinging by my blog, buying my books or just having a passing interest in my stuff, it would be kinda dull without ya !

I hope everyone has a great holiday period, and graceful entrance into the new year!

And remember, don't ever take or accept critique, just advice. And how do you know the difference? Well if they can do it ( "IT" as in whatever they are passing judgement on ) better, by general measure it is advice. If they cannot do it better then they are just hate fueled puppets of regret and need to be shown the door !

2008 is shaping up to be a banner year for me in more ways than one, I'm very much looking forward to shedding all the details in the new year.

Bambaland Update

Just a quick Bambaland Update...

We are now in the month of December which means that the Christmas shipping rush is now well and truly on. As of right now if you order anything from Bambaland.com do not expect your packages to arrive for, on or near Christmas Day.

For those of you who want to know the status of your order please log in to your Bambaland account first before emailing us as the Bambaland system is very up to date and can provide you with the most immediate order status. For anyone who has placed an order from the 20th of November onwards please allow for delays due to the time of year.

And last but not least, Leggerboot will be officially retired this week. We have officially sold out of the last of our run and we have no plans to re-print.

Some paintings take 30 minutes, some take two years. This painting ( It actually consists of two panels, this being the left half ) has been in the works for eight months. I got the under-painting done very quickly, but then hit a wall. Over the months I have probably painted it a hundred times in my head, never really inspired to grab a brush and go for it. But out of nowhere the muses struck, the clouds parted and I was able to move on it.

I have a few paintings in this stage around the studio,( Gregg you know this! ) and its always good to start moving on them again !

A new poster should be available at Bambaland this week, and some other cool stuff...
