I was asked today what was the origin as to why I wanted to be an artist/illustrator , the answer came to me very quickly, Star Wars and the Ken Kelly micronaut alien package paintings. Yup, pretty nerdy and not as cool quoting a love for graffiti as a inspiration ( though on a aside I did in my earlier years spend time with Shime, one of Western australia's greatest Graf guys. That makes me cool-er right ??? ).

Now this got me thinking how cool it would be to work on the new Star Wars TV shows Lucas is preparing, Lucas people, Im waiting for the call up, maybe to design some robots eh eh !

Back to it then...

Bambaland Announcement

Bambaland will be temporarily closing within the next 48 hours and so we are advising anyone who has not yet ordered a poster or any other merchandise to do so now.

All current and new orders are in the process of being fulfilled, please expect a delay of at least a week before shipping.

The store will re-open in 6-8 weeks with all the favorites plus limited edition toy stock such as Bertie the Robot as well as exclusive Les Mort 13 figures.

Our reason for closing is a happy one as I am now officially on maternity leave. Look forward to seeing you all again when I get back:)
